With 18 years in education—and now in her eleventh year as a principal—Christina has consistently inspired students, staff, and communities to lead with courage, grow with purpose, and live with authenticity.
This year, she is being honored with the 2025 Impact Award at the JoyTutor Celebrations of Courage Awards for her outstanding influence across education, empowerment, and equity-driven leadership.

A Legacy of Leadership and Love
Christina’s educational career is grounded in excellence, equity, and emotional intelligence. As a school principal, she has led transformational initiatives that center student voice, support educator growth, and create cultures of care. Her work has earned honors such as the Women’s Trailblazing Award, Super Principal Award, and Motivational Moderating Leader Award.
She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the Illinois Principals Association, and the School Superintendents Association—demonstrating her commitment to leading at both the grassroots and systemic levels.
From Teen Spirit to National Impact
As the founder of Teen Spirit LLC, Christina empowers youth and adult audiences through motivational messages and leadership development. Her voice has reached national stages, including the CUBE Conference and numerous scholarship events, encouraging individuals to live courageously and lead with authenticity.
A certified life coach and current EdD candidate, Christina models what it means to be a lifelong learner and intentional leader—fueled by faith, rooted in service, and guided by purpose.
